Reasonable work-load, his lectures are clear and the quizzes match the material form the lectures.ECON2350 2014-04-25 00:04:48 +0000 UTC
Very boring class. He is a very hard grader and test questions are unpredictable and not really related to the class. Must use textbook to teach yourself the material. I would not recommend him.ECON1112 2014-04-17 12:45:28 +0000 UTC
you never receive the grade you deserve. He's very tough on grading. his lectures are so monotonous that you fell asleep all the time. he goes by the book all the time.ECON1115 2013-10-31 13:12:26 +0000 UTC
His class is okay, but he's a really tough grader. His grades are based 75% on a midterm and a final, so if you mess up those, you're screwed. He gives pop up quizzes and his class is graded on a curve.ECON115 2013-04-30 00:02:11 +0000 UTC
If you make one mistake on his quizzes and it carries through to the next question, he will take points off for both. He is a tough grader and not lenient. He has a boring teaching strategy and the material is dry.ECON1 2012-02-26 14:44:15 +0000 UTC
He tries to help, but it doesn't help. Either he doesn't answer your QUESTION or he helps you but then you still don't do well on exams (the midterm and final are worth a huge chunk).ECON1115 2012-11-30 09:30:15 +0000 UTC
Decent guy in class, TOUGH grader. Not rude or anything, just boring.ECON115 2012-12-06 14:08:38 +0000 UTC
For the clarity rating, it's not that he isn't clear... it's that the stuff he says in class isn't what is on exams. The exams don't match well to the quizzes. Take down everything he says because he will use things you barely talked about!ECON1115 2012-11-13 11:51:50 +0000 UTC
He grades very very tough and makes it near impossible to know what type of grade you're going to get until the end. He's a smart guy but a horrible teacher. One mistake can cost you more points than you thought the problem was even worth to begin with.ECON1115 2012-11-01 14:54:14 +0000 UTC
class is boring, and he uses a rediculous way to calculate your grade, you never know how well you are doing before you receive your final grade.ECON1115 2012-07-17 12:48:48 +0000 UTC
Professor Isakower is an average teacher...my biggest problem is that he sticks too closely to the text, making me feel that i'm wasting my time showing up to class...he's a smart guy and he definitely attempts to answer questions you may ask in class and is willing to respond to questions via e-mail which is nice...he's a bit dry but overall okayECON1115 2011-11-15 14:42:28 +0000 UTC
He's chill and not bad at all. I've missed only some of his classes and I'm able to keep up by reading the textbook on my own. It's very important to study from his worksheet, it's way more useful than studying from the book. If you pay attention in class it will be visible in your grade.ECON1115 2011-11-03 11:10:51 +0000 UTC
Isakower is a chill teacher. Attendance is not mandatory, but I think his lectures are more helpful than just reading the texbook. He is very lenient on grading, and gives partial credit. He is also very clear and answers questions. Overall chill guy and not so bad class.ECON1115 2011-11-03 10:58:24 +0000 UTC
