this was my second class with professor mohommed and i highly recommend him. he does technically have a textbook for the class, but it isn't super necessary to buy. he is super kind and really wants people to do well in his classes. he makes himself available for office hours and is willing to give points back on unfair exam questions.PHTH4616 2025-05-12 12:08:03 +0000 UTC
Dr mohammed is a super nice person but i hated how his classes are structured. His tests, graded harshly, were over the difficult, detailed questions in the textbook, which we were required to read. most material tested/quizzed on were over content he did not cover in class. on the bright side, he is super responsive to emails and organizedPHTH2350 2024-01-07 01:54:19 +0000 UTC
Took Special Topics (Rural Health). Very thought out lectures which included a weekly speaker working in a rural healthcare setting. Class features an end of semester service learning project, which took a while to get done, but a very rewarding experience overall.HSCI2850 2023-03-30 20:04:04 +0000 UTC
Found the class to provide new perspective on healthcare comm. in a way that makes me want to carry these principles deep into my career.PHTH2300 2022-08-02 01:36:18 +0000 UTC
Professor Mohammed is nice person and the class was not hard, I just felt that some of the assignments he had us do were just busy work and not essential for the class. Also, he was not efficient at providing feedback. We wrote our first paper in February, and it took him until finals week (early May) to return the paper, providing feedback.HONR1310 2022-05-09 17:57:27 +0000 UTC
Great prof, very excited about the subject. Weekly quizzes are very easy if you go to every class and keep up with the assigned reading, textbook is interesting, too (a bit too political, though). Don't wait til last minute on the group project, it's a lot of work. Great class discussions, even tho it was a large section. Shan is the man!BHSU350 2008-02-17 17:12:51 +0000 UTC
Prof was very kind but the structure of the class felt unfair at times, with textbook heavy reading quizzes that tested on specifics rather than overarching themes. So much material from both lecture and textbook that became boring. Grades were based on 7 quizzes, 2 presentations, midterm and final (cumulative). Unnecessary workload in my opinion.PHTH2350 2021-12-10 06:44:16 +0000 UTC
Overall I really like Dr. Mohommed. His lectures are interesting and you definitely learn a lot, but sometimes he can be a tough grader.PHTH2300 2022-04-14 17:54:19 +0000 UTC
it was his first time teaching the class so it was kind of a mess and there wasn't much instruction for any of our assignments. He's super nice though and really tries his best to make sure everyone's engaged but to a certain extent, he can get so boring. We had two papers, two quizzes, two presentations, and 1 midterm so it really wasn't badPHTH2300 2019-05-26 20:05:02 +0000 UTC
