I was never able to finish labs during class - he didn't explain what we had to do and they were very hard (didn't align with what we had learned in class at all). Very kind and inspirational prof! Can tell he loves what he does. Clear about grading (not very harsh either), available via email, and tries to guide you to problem solve. Weekly in-class code was challenging, I'd spend a while after class to finish it. Having it due the same day at 12am was a little stressful but doable. He makes the in-class coding exercises way more difficult than they need to be and we almost never finished it during class (which we were supposed to). Despite that, he is very enthusiastic about the course and grades every assignment besides the project on completion so it's a pretty easy class.
