The man is just so old, absolutely impossible to learn anything from this class. He just mumbles information from his terribly written slides for an hour and a half while not a single person in the classroom is paying attention. If you value your sanity, take econometrics with another professor.ECON2560 2026-02-25 18:31:33 +0000 UTC
Guys he's chill. His grading is amazing. He's not a tough grader. If you want a chill class this is it. Idk what the other reviews are talking abt. I recommend him. Attendance isn't mandatory. The final is a project. Your gonna be graded on the final project and problems sets.ECON2350 2025-04-14 05:54:08 +0000 UTC
He's super nice chill, especially for Applied Econ, which is supposed to be an intensive writing requirement. Zooms every lecture, only grades are problem sets & final project that he assigned around Halloween. He isn't as tech savvy but that was fine. Make an effort to get to know him & for him to get to know you he really enjoys it!!ECON2560 2025-12-11 03:10:00 +0000 UTC
Mr. Tardiff is a nice guy but not suited for teaching. Struggles with technology. Teaching style is boring and bland. He just reads off of prewritten slides and I have learned nothing from this class. Assignments are extremely easy, no quizzes, no tests, and the final is just a project that he assigns basically a month before its due.ECON2350 2025-04-09 15:14:40 +0000 UTC
Professor Tardiff is a little too old to be teaching and this "introductory" statistics class is impossible to understand if you haven't taken AP Stats. Problem Sets are incredibly confusing and half of the class time is spent correcting something he wrongly put onto them. I would highly recommend taking this class with anyone else if possible.ECON2350 2024-11-19 21:34:48 +0000 UTC
