Professor Helmuth was amazing! Even though I took this course for NUPath credit, I have no regrets. He is truly passionate about the topics. I will admit the lectures were a little boring, but the course load was very light. Prof Helmuth truly wants his students to learn & gives great examples with videos to explain concepts better during class! I wish the grading structure wasn't so test heavy with 85% being given to 3 tests and a final - Would've been nice to allocate more points to homework. I loved taking Environmental Science with Brian! I was only in the class for my Nupath requirements, but I'm really glad I took it. Brian does a great job of making the material interesting and the amount of out of class work he assigns is super reasonable. Fantastic professor. I was only in this class for NUpath credit but I learned a lot and became really invested in the material. Professor Helmuth is an entertaining lecturer and he really cares about the subject matter. Talks a lot about his real life experiences from research.
