He brings valuable experience to every class, which helps illustrate key concepts. Every class is a lecture, and I found them all really interesting. I like the class discussions that take place, it feels very engaging and easy to participate. Great experience!ENVR5210 2026-02-22 18:48:44 +0000 UTC
Gave weekly quizzes on like 3 different articles each week. Big on class discussions and will randomly call on you. Felix seems to not know 100% what he's talking about and oftentimes fed wrong information and argued with students.ENVR2900 2019-10-23 03:08:27 +0000 UTC
Environmental Planning is a class about regulations and planning - already a dull class. Felix does his best to provide ideas and input, but it's mainly just him reading off slides. No rubrics or guidance for assignments, although he is an easyish grader so not horrible. For a required class it's boring but easy and you can do other work during itENVR5210 2025-04-14 18:10:24 +0000 UTC
Class was ok due to the small class discussions but Felix was pretty dull. Has relevant professional experience but cannot relate it well outside a few specific examples. there are better classes to take in the environmental and poly sci colleges for applicable environmental policyENVR2900 2018-11-14 11:25:22 +0000 UTC
Big assignments are vague. He refuses to give a rubric or any specific guidelines (he didn't know what a rubric even was). Lectures are dull and subjects are outdated. I learn much more from student contributions than anything he could say. Take this class if you want to pay to become unbelievably frustrated two times a week and gain nothing.ENVR5210 2021-11-17 23:47:25 +0000 UTC
Despite his years in the Mass. DEP, he is not very knowledgeable, or aware of, issues outside the confines of MA. Of all the professors in the ENVR Department, a true disappointment here. He has no idea how to teach, doesn't source anything he says, and makes incorrect statements all the time. Waste of time. Felt like an intro high school class.ENVR2900 2017-11-14 14:40:09 +0000 UTC
