Professor Smith was probably one of the best professors I have had. He was very respectful to each student in class and was very approachable. Despite the fact that it was a late evening class, it was never boring - he always kept the energy level up and was very enthusiastic. The material was all relevant and interesting. Keith is an endearing nerd who literally showed puppy pictures before bringing out equations when moving into data analytics. He wants to share the knowledge he is passionate about but respects the fact that not everyone will be enthusiastic. His class feels more like hanging out w/a friend. Keith is such a caring & smart prof who wants his students to do well in his class and also in the real world. As a second-year who has not been on co-op and lacks real-world experience, Keith was very respectful of every student in the class and also an intuitive professor who tries to know each of his students personally. Keith is phenomenal. Sometimes, especially at NEU, you get professors who actually work in their field but have 0 idea how to teach - Keith is the best of both worlds. His class is incredibly interesting, he's funny, and while he's clearly the prof. he views everyone as equals which is awesome. Keith is a great professor. He really knows his material and I can tell that he is passionate about his teaching and cares about his students. I enjoy the content of the class as well.
