Mishac is a geotechnical legend. I had him for three graduate courses. He makes you work, but is good at explaining concepts visually rather than making them feel abstract. Best quality is how available he makes himself after class. He called me on a Saturday once to discuss a question. I wish I had him for every graduate course. I don't know how, but you end up learning a lot in this class. This course was like a joke for the most part. Professor is very funny and tells lots of stories, doesnt seem to teach much, but by the end of the course I had a pretty clear understanding of all the steps of foundation design.
