A fantastic professor, and great person. Always there to help. Don't buy the book, you won't use it at all. Too bad he's leaving after Spring of 2013. This is your last chance to have him, make sure you take his class. Awesome guy with very dry, almost cynical, humor. Sometimes people don't pick up on it which makes it awkward. He's not always entirely clear but will be quick to help out. He's an easier grader than average. Can definitely recommend him.MKTG3401 2011-12-13 13:28:24 +0000 UTC

MOST BORING CLASS EVER. most boring professor ever... this class was absolutely painful... i would not recommend it to anyone except that it is a requirement for marketing majors . professor swain is SO boring its painful. he is also so wordy... the whole course could be taught in a lesson and he takes a whole semester. Pr swain is the man! Cares a lot about the class. Material is hard, but its the real deal -wish it was required b4 core. He's VERY good at responding to emails and helping after class. Swain thinks hes very fun but he's very dull. He doesn't teach you anything rather starts to quietly lecture to you about mathematical concepts that he assumes you know but never takes the time to explain.
