Easy if you want an A-. However, Chad does not round on final grades and only a 95+ is an A. 40% of grade comes from a harshly graded project, while 10% is from participation and he expects you to speak a lot to get full marks on this. I'm not sure why his other reviews are so positive, but his lectures are pretty boring. I regret taking this prof.MKTG4504 2025-04-19 22:39:36 +0000 UTC
Chad is a brilliant public speaker! His presentations very insightful and engaging. He always checks on students who miss classes for valuable reasons and pays attention to details, which is both very wholesome and professional.MKTG4508 2024-04-15 00:40:26 +0000 UTC
What can I say about Prof O Connor that he hasnt said himself. Be prepared to think outside of the box. I went from being a beginning team member and now I supervise a team.MKTG101 2020-10-01 17:26:30 +0000 UTC
Awesome prof! Interesting class examples, discussion boards are fluid but show that you have a grasp on the material and you'll do well. For this class there was a indiv paper/presentation and there was a group paper, I work full time and have other classes and did not feel it was an overwhelming amount of work.CMN6050 2018-12-15 00:12:53 +0000 UTC
I took his advertising elective and it was a really interesting class! He's really funny and energetic, so the class was never a drag. The projects are relatively easy and he's an easy grader. He's pretty laid back about attendance, and we never had homework outside of our presentations.COMM3451 2017-04-11 21:48:35 +0000 UTC
Great professor, absolutely hilarious, brings in guest speakers for networking opportunities, really wants his students to succeed BUT tests are hard are he knows that but they are curved and there are other aspects to make up your final gradeCOMM1231 2017-01-19 13:11:00 +0000 UTC
Chad is the professor you would want to be friends with throughout your entire college and working career. He is incredibly well connected and gives insightful feedback. Most weeks he will bring in a guest lecturer who is avidly decorated and successful in their fields. Great co-op connections. Best class I'll ever take in Northeastern.COMM3501 2015-11-06 14:29:15 +0000 UTC
The best. Smartest, most hilarious guy ever, so approachable, and has tons of experience. Chad has friends EVERYWHERE, and invites some to guest lecture, and no matter what you're interested in, he'll include it his teaching and make sure that you get someting out of the class. Take any class with him, you will NOT be disappointed. He's the man!APPSOFORGCOMM 2014-11-19 10:29:59 +0000 UTC

Good prof, pretty straightforward and easy to get a hold of outside class. Lecture content is interesting, and he definitely makes an effort to make it so. Class content is mostly discussion-based lecture with the graded assignments being 2 big (but relatively easy) projects.MKTG4504 2024-10-13 07:08:21 +0000 UTC
Amazing professor. Would take again 1000 times over. Best professor I've had at NortheasternMKTG4508 2019-06-28 08:04:12 +0000 UTC
I wish I had taken more advantage of Chad's connections while I was in his class. He brings in people who are insightful and well-connected some come to those classes well-researched. He gives incredible feedback. For my final project, I had one group member who was difficult to work with, and he helped me navigate the situation. Very helpful!COMM3451 2016-04-21 16:13:56 +0000 UTC
Chad is literally the best teacher ever!!! He is so funny, so friendly and very interesting. Always tells funny news stories that relate to the topic. He makes all of the material very clear and easy to understand. Definitely take him for Organizational Comm! Just go to the classes and read the case studies and you'll be fine.COMM1231 2011-04-01 00:48:49 +0000 UTC
Chad is the man! Lecture is so engaging and entertaining, you get to learn real world applications rather than textbook memorization. He greatly cares about his students and is genuinely a very caring guy! Class is easy with an individual paper, group project, and a couple certifications. One of the best profs I've had by far, would take him again!MKTG4504 2024-06-11 19:42:20 +0000 UTC
