There's so much information presented, literally thousands of slides and they're just repetitive and bland. You can honestly read the slides and teach yourself, the only reason I came to class was for the attendance grade. You only have a few assignments so try to get your best grade on every one.The quizzes are tedious and sometimes the questions aren't as easy as you think. She's also a really tough grader for some weird reason. Also in class if you say the wrong answer she'll make a face as if you're stupid. Super boring professor, every class is a lecture and she just reads off of like 50 slides that are just repetitive asf. Doesn't really feel like you're learning and there's barely any interaction or excitement in the class so it's easy to doze off. Attendance is mandatory and she's strict about it. 1. She reads off her slides which is posted on canvas anyway. Attendance is compulsory and you learn nothing. 2. Her grading is extremely weird. For similar quality hws, I got three very different grades. 3. Her quizzes have 5 multiple choice questions worth 10% of your total grade. She has open note tests, so you really just have to pay attention in class so you understand the material but no memorization is required. Probably the best into to marketing professor, I'd definitely recommend taking her if you want an easy class. This was probably the worst class I took at Northeastern and this professor was truly horrible. She was inconsiderate and seemed to enjoy giving students low grades. I would not recommend this professor for marketing. She is a harsh grader, and will often give you 4.9/5 on assignments, and even then you're graded on so few assignments. Her classes consist of her just rereading the slides. Professor Yadin is absolutely the best! She is super nice, flexible, and knowledgeable. She also tries her best to make classes engaging. Tests and quizzes are very fair as well.
