Sultan has a very structured course layout. If you want to get a good grade, find out exactly what she is looking for and give it to her. If you deviate from her rules or requirements, don't expect any good comments. The group project takes up a significant amount of the overall course load. I took this class online so I didn't have the same experience as other respondents.I am enrolled in the MBA online program so comparatively this class was moderate in expectations.I had classes where both material and requirements were far worst. She is a hard teacher and we went to the bar after every crazy test/presentation. As long as you GO TO CLASS you will end up doing OK. She thinks missing class is a sin, I swear. Midterm was really hard but she gave us as many points as possible...thought I failed but I got an 83. She takes forever to grade everything you hand in, and even though you might do well in the class she'll still give you a B and blame it on participation! Professor Sultan is the worst professor I've ever had in my 6 years at NEU. She wants students to fail, seeks out to make your life difficult, and spends lecture primarily complimenting herself. She is an effective teacher but the course load is extremely heavy for an elective. She gives you this thick ass packet but thats not all, over the semester she'll keep whipping out more requirements. she seems to be nice when you talk to her at first but she is overly strict and could get quite rude and disrespectful. she cannot stand the typos and pays attention on small things like that, instead of paying attention on the content. she likes to talk about herself and gets irritated when you ask for clarifications. one of the worst professors.MKTG4508 2020-01-23 04:37:58 +0000 UTC
Not a big fan of the manner in which Prof. Sultan teaches, I have learned very little. Very rude, she cuts off students mid-answer when they answer questions. Have not received grades for almost any of the assignments turned in yet. I would not recommend her to anyone.
