DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. Worst professor I've had at northeastern stands in front and reads from his scripts the entire class. Doesn't seem to care about assignments until he drops your grade 8+% with the final project, final exam, and participation. Easy Professor. Nothing learned. Just participate in class and you will get an A. Doesn't grade anything. Large amount of your grade depends on the group project and just participation. Lowkey the goat except for grading, where he gives a B+ on every assignment except participation, final project, and executive summary. The class was interesting and I liked his lectures, but doing well on the presentation is crucial. He's deliberately vague and unclear about assignments. You WILL get a B+ on everything. Cancels class all the time. Pray you get a good group bc you work with them the whole semester. Everything is worth 20%. Participate as much as you can! (multiple times each class) and laugh at his jokes. Really nice prof but bad grading. You will get a 3.5/4 no matter what you do. Your entire grade is determined by the final project and participation. He says attendance is not mandatory but it counts towards participation and if you get a B in that you will get a B overall. Take home chapter (30 pages each) quizzes before almost every class. He likes super outgoing students, so SIT IN THE FRONT. He tells everyone "speak up!" "I can't hear you" constantly, makes it hard to participate then harshly grades participation. Lectures are summary of chapters, repetitive. JUST SHOW UP AND YOU WILL BE FINE. This class is not difficult as long as you participate in class and show up for daily attendance. He is a nice guy, as you show interest in what he is teaching. Every week we had a quiz based on the last chapter we read and it is open note and at home, basically just homework. Our mid-term and final were the same thing, only he was more strict with grading the final. We had a group project, but we were graded on our presenation and not the project itself. Easiest professor. All quizzes are online and open note. Grade is determined by one simulation project. You don't have to do good on the simulation, you just have to have a good presentation.
