Great teacher who focuses on actual student learning, doesn't give much homework, which gives you time to work on presentations. I learned so much about marketing in this class through actual examples. The many group projects and presentations were fun. The one issue I have is that everything is graded subjectively and if you're not the most talkative person in the room, then there is no way to get an A. This class pushed me to think outside the box further than I've ever gone before, and bring those big ideas to life in a way where I was constantly engaged and having fun with it. Butler is a great professor if you want to be pushed to think outside the box and challenge yourself in a new way as a brand marketer. I enjoyed the semester project and his lectures. For MKTG 3720: Professor Butler is a great guy who really cares about his students. The class is structured very loosely, and can be kind of abstract at times. A lot of this class can be boiled down to if you have a good group that's willing to put in work to create a good final product. Great Professor who cares about each student. Case every week and 2 presentations during the semester with some lectures. you don't know your grade until the end of the semester but he really emphasizes participation and being engaged in class.
